- The sixteen residents of Sunset Tower apartments,were invited one day to the reading of the rich, patriotic, disguise master, Sam Westing's, will. They all were claimed to be an heir one way or another to Sam Westing. They were to meet at Sam Westing's mansion for the reading of the will. At the meeting was when they were told that they were all heirs, that Sam Westing was murdered, and that he was murdered by one of them! They each were given a partner, a set of clues and $10,000 which that they were to split evenly between the two partners. The partners were to study the clues and somehow find out the murderer's name, through their clues. As the game went on the parners got more and more angry at Sam Westing and his impossible crazy game. But a 200 million dollar prize was at stake!
