In this book Steven is a friend to this man named Mr.Chickee. Most kids make fun of Mr.Chickee because he is blind. Steven usually helps him get his groceries.

Diary of a Fairy Godmother
Hunky Dory is a witch and she is the top of her class at Charm School. Her mother says that she will be the wickedest witch wherever the four winds blow. Clementine
Clementine is having a very bad week. First it starts with cutting off Margaret's hair and then it goes down hill from there! They found out very surprising news, that in order to train the animals in the circus, the trainers abuse them to do what they need to do. In their regular class, they had to read a certain amount of minutes for the whole class, and once they reached their goal they would get a surprise field trip.
The field trip turned out to be going to the circus. Now before they learned what the surprise field trip was, the children promised that they would never go to a circus because they would be paying to see the animals do tricks that they got hurt to do.
They told the teacher what they found online, but the teacher did not believe them and they had to go to the field trip. So the students started a petition and they got in big trouble and had to go to the principals office. They were told not to do that any more and stop telling kids things that were not true.

The Trumpet of the Swan
Louis the swan was born with no voice. He could not say "beep" or say "koh-ho". When Louis got older the problem got to him. In order to marry another trumpeter swan he needs to win her heart by saying ''KOH-Ho''. Louis felt very discouraged. His father saw him having troubles with winning his love's heart.
His father went to the mother and told her that he will go to town and get a trumpet for their son Louis. His mother was very worried that the father swan would never get back with out getting shot or hurt.
A boy who goes to the lake where Louis lives, watched these baby swans get born and watch them grow up. Te boy is the only one who goes to this lake and he also is the only human who knows about the nest of swans and about Louis disability. The Mystery at the Dog Show.
In this book, the boxcar kids are having company who are entering the dog show.Their names are the Teagues, and the daughter, named Carya, will show the dog. They have a dog named Sunny. She is a Golden Retriever and has won many times.

Paws off Cheddar Face!
In this book Geronimo is going to work on a normal day.Then an old mouse sees him and stares! She did not want an autograph, instead she yelled at him about stepping on her paw at the bus stop last week! To Geronimo's surprise he had not gone to the bus stop last week and then she started hitting him!
Later he saw one of his friends and he said that last night at a restaurant he had teased him! Geronimo had no clue what he was talking about! He was highly confused! He finally got to his office thinking he was safe. He was sooooo wrong!
He got a call that said he had ordered a lot of fancy chocolates! He was sure he did not! But he was forced by the mouse on the phone he had to pay him! He got a HUGE bill! He got a lot of other calls that day. He was so confused!
Then he found out on a sign that a mouse that looks just like him, who works for a toilet company, must be the one doing all the things under Geronimo's name! He is very surprised!

Road to Paris
The main character's name is Paris and she is a foster child. She goes to foster home to foster home. Her real mom is named Viola and she started to drink when her husband left the house.
Paris and her brother got left home alone so the mom could go to the local bar!
When the grandma found out she called to have the kids taken to a foster home! The first one they went to was the Boons. The mom hit Paris and blamed them on what her daughter did!
One day they ran away from the Boons house so they could live with the Grandma. The next day the brother got taken away to a foster school! All because he stole money from Mrs.Boone! The next one who left was Paris! She was leaving far away from where she lives. She was very worried.....

She finds out by a friendly crow that she should go to the owl for some advice. So she went, but she was very worried because owls don't do well with mice. When she got inside the owls home he told her that she should go to the rats to ask them to move her house behind a bolder! Mrs.Frisby thought about that and went. She told the rats what her problem was and what the owl said and they agreed.
But she had a very important question. She had heard of the plan, she over heard it by some rats while she was coming. She really wants to know.....

September Surprises!
I know I thought it was the end of the series with the Main Street books,but it is not! In this book Flora,Niki,and Olivia go to Central Middle School and they are a little scared about it. Olivia is really scared that she will be the youngest at the school and won't be able to fit in.
When the mean girl in school, who is named Melody, finds out that Olivia is getting A+'s, she made Olivia tell her all the answers to the homework. Then Olivia found out that she is using her! So when Melody called one night to have the answers for homework, then Olivia said absolutely NOT! Melody was not to happy about that! She said that Olivia was going to regret that! Olivia did know that Melody was going to do something! Olivia worried all week for that little thing Melody was going to do.
One day, when Olivia was going to get her math homework, it was not there! Now Olivia did not lock her locker because the locker was broken, so Melody must have found out and took the work and said it was hers! Olivia had no homework to turn in so she had to redo it at home! She knew she needed to get revenge on Melody and get a new locker! So she thought about it and got a good revenge!

Julies Journey
Julie gets to go on a wagon train with her cousins! They will leave a couple days before the fourth of July. Julie is so excited and even more excited about the barn dance and that she gets to wear a pioneer dress that night too! Through out the trail they will be collecting scrolls signed by many people in the town that they collected it from. At the end someone will hand a scroll to the president to sign!
One day Julie asked the man who carried the scrolls who gets to hand the scroll over to the president to sign and he said that an old friend of his got a signature a baseball player and so he gets to give it to him! That night Julie saw an add about the oldest man on earth and he lives right where they will stop and hand the scrolls over to the president to sign! Julie hoped to get the man to sign the scroll before the president comes!

Julie and the Eagles
It all started when Julie and her best friend Ivy found a baby Owl in a meadow,and did not know what to do with it. So they asked a kind lady who they had been talking to earlier on what to do with it. She said to go to the Randall Museum because they have a place for hurt wild animals and someone is sure to know what to do!
So they wrapped up the poor baby owl and rode their bikes to the Museum. Sure enough someone was there to help the baby owl. The woman's name was Robin and she looked at the shaking and blinking baby owl. She asked if the owl was blinking and shaking the whole time and Julie replied that it was. Robin was very worried that the baby owl had ate something poisonous! She said that it may not make it through the night, but she hoped it would! Robin said that Julie could come the next day to check on the baby owl.
The next day when Julie came to see the baby owl, Robin had some bad news. The baby owl had to go to the vet because they all thought he needed more care. But then she told her she had a surprise for Julie! She took her to the room with all the animals and took her to a cage with beautiful bald eagles! She said their names are Shasta and Sierra. Then she took Julie to a cage with baby eagles in it! Julie asked if they will ever let them go and she said that they have to make a hack tower and that costs one thousand dollars to build! Julie was so sad that she new that she had to do something! Then at school she had a brilliant idea!..

Kailey
This book is about a girl named Kailey who loves tide pools, snorkeling and boogie boarding with her best friend Tess at their local beach.
One day when they got onto the beach they saw a sign that said a Commercial Cove Resort was going to be made soon! It was going to be made on the bluff. The resort was going to have a movie theater with twelve screens, a hotel, and stairs on the rocks to make it easier to get to and from the beach. Kailey thought that part was cool until she found out they will be removing the boulders were the tide pools were! Kailey did not like the idea of that because she loves those tide pools and does not want that to happen to all of her friends! So she promised all her sea friends that she will not let them die!
One busy day on the weekend Kailey was thinking about the tide pools when all of the sudden Tess screams and falls on one rock after another, and when she reached the bottom, she could not put weight on one of her feet. They call Tess's mom and tell her to come and pick her up. The next day Kailey comes to visit to see that Tess is all banged up with a cast on her leg.
Will Kailey stop this boulder moving? Will Tess turn out ok?

A Dogs Life
A Dogs Life is a story of a stray pup born in a unused shed in the Merrions yard. The mother of the pup was very pregnant when she found this very warm and comfy shed. She had to share it with cats and mice.
That night she slept in straw, then in the morning she found a wheelbarrow and gave birth to five puppies. Two were born dead, one only lived for a hour, so that made only two left. Dogs name their pups after what they like so the girl pup(who is the main dog in this story) was named Squirrel, and the boy pup was named Bone.
Squirrel and Bone loved to play quietly and hid behind the shed. Their mother taught them how to hunt small animals to eat and taught them how to stay clear of humans.

The Tiger Rising
This book is about a boy named Rob who lives with his dad. One day when Rob was walking to school he saw a tiger all caged up. The tiger was pacing back and forth. When he got to the bus stop all he could think about was the tiger! But when he got on the bus, two bullies disturbed his thoughts. While the bullies were attacking him, the bus stopped more early than usual. Then a girl stepped on the bus. She had on a pink dress and, where he goes to school, no girl ever wears a dress! The girl called herself Sistine, like the chapel.
During class, while Rob was busy drawing the tiger, his name was called, but he did not hear it at all, then it was even louder and he heard it loud and clear! It was the teacher and she said to go to the principal. So Rob did and the principal said that there had been complaints from parents,they think that his rash is contagious! So the principal said that he has to stay home till the rash is gone. And in Rob's head he new his rash would never be healed.
A couple days later, the man who had the tiger, gave him the keys so he could feed him and get paid. When Rob told Sistine she told him they should free him! Rob said no but he thought about it.

The Secret Book Club
In the book The Secret Book Club Flora,Ruby,Olivia and Niki are surprised by four packages at Needle and Thread. When they opened them they found two books; The Saturdays and Mrs.Frisby. There was also a note about discussion topics,to meet on Saturdays,what to do and signed a secret name. The girls were very curious about this club leader.
Later that night at 2:00 in the morning there was a siren noise and the smell of smoke! Ruby and Flora woke with a start! Flora ran to Ruby's room and looked out the window with Ruby. They saw a fire on MAINE STREET!....
Where is the fire? How will the book club go? Who started it?

Best Friends.
I know you might have thought I told you about the hole series of Maine Street books I did too! But their is still another book! Book 4, Best Friends!
This book is about Main Street's 350th birthday celebration. There are floats and a play (Ruby's play from book 2). There is also a surprise! Flora's old best friend is coming to celebrate the 350th! But that is not good news to Olivia! She thinks that Flora will think that Olivia is not the friend she wants and dump her!So when the friend arrives, Olivia and the friend don't talk to each other. Flora has no idea why her two best friends won't talk to each other at all! This is what Flora did NOT want to happen!
In Ruby's dress rehearsals for her play they all messed up a lot! Props fell and some broke a tad! Ruby thought the play would be a disaster! When the day of the show came surprises came!
Will Flora's friends talk? How will the 350th go? What will happen in Ruby's play?

Jeffry- Loves music, but the mom dose not know.
Cagney- A gardener for Arundel Homes.
Mrs.Tifton- Owner of Arundel Homes (country houses for rent) and Jeffry's mom.
Dexter- A man who wants to marry Mrs.Tifton.

Worst Enemies/Best Friends
Today I am going to talk about the first book in my newest favorite series; The Beacon Street Girls! It is about some girls and their problems.
Book one is called Worst Enemies/Best Friends. Charlotte is moving again with her dad from Paris to Boston. They have been to a lot of different places because of his writing job. Whenever she goes to a new school, she does something weird at school. This was the worst year of her history of mistakes! With her mistakes she got in big trouble by Maeve,Kantini and Avery! When the schools Principle, who is Kantini's grandmother, asks Charlotte to come make cookies, Kantini does not like it.

Tis'The Season

Flora and Ruby are not sure about doing Christmas without their parents, it just does not feel right. Camden Falls is very beautiful and decorated with decorations. Welcome To Camden Falls
Today I am going to write about the very fun series of Main Street books. When I first got into the series, there were only 3 books and I will talk about the 1st book; WELCOME TO CAMDEN FAllS.
The book is about these two girls, Flora and Ruby, who's parents died in a car accident. Now they are living with their Grandmother Min in Camden Falls, Massachusetts. They work in the store she owns called Needle and Thread. Flora loves to sew, so she takes this opportunity to learn and help, but Ruby on the other hand, loves animals and dose not enjoy working in the store. In this book they are learning to fit in at Camden Falls, Massachusetts.
