Mr.Chickees Funny Money

In this book Steven is a friend to this man named Mr.Chickee. Most kids make fun of Mr.Chickee because he is blind. Steven usually helps him get his groceries.

One day Mr.Chickee said that he would be on a trip for a while. He always treats Steven to a pop and a bag of chips. This time he gave him an envelope. When he gave it to Steven he said that it is up to him to figure out what to do with it.

Steven went to a tree that he always goes to to read his comic book, eats chips, and drink his pop.This time he opened the envelope that Mr.Chickee gave him. It contained a mysterious piece of money. It had a one and fifteen zeros after that! He could not believe it! Steven did not know that their was such thing as a quadrillion dollar bill! Or was it fake? Steven may be the most smartest kid in school, but this was something that a smart kid could not figure out.

Diary of a Fairy Godmother

Hunky Dory is a witch and she is the top of her class at Charm School. Her mother says that she will be the wickedest witch wherever the four winds blow. That is true, until one day her aunt takes her to a party for a newborn princess baby. As a gift, the aunt gives the baby a spell that when the baby is older she will prick her finger and die. But Hunky Dory changes the spell to the baby will prick her finger and fall into a deep sleep for a hundred years and only a true loves kiss will wake her.

Hunky gets a magical feeling inside her when she makes good wishes come true. So she started doing more wishing and got kicked out of school because she talked too much about Wish Craft instead of Witch Craft. Her mother also kicks her out of the cave (her house) because of this too. Hunky has to make a house in the woods her home and becomes a Fairy Godmother on her own.

Clementine

Clementine is having a very bad week. First it starts with cutting off Margaret's hair and then it goes down hill from there! Margaret's mother gets so mad at the girls, that they are no longer allowed to play together. And Margaret's mother is overheard saying that there are easy children and hard children in every family, and that Clementine just happens to be that hard child.

So, feeling hurt, Clementine is sulking when she hears her parents now talking about "one is enough" and finds herself sad that they were talking about her. Later, she even finds her mother talking on the phone stating, "The cake has to be chocolate with white frosting with the words Goodbye and Good Riddance .... Clementine".

A side story is that her dad is fighting the great Pigeon War (it is where he sprays the Pigeon's because they leave "you-know-what" on their apartment) and Clementine finds out a way to stop the great Pigeon War.

The Cinderella Ballet Mystery

This book is part of the Clue Crew Mysteries. Nancy and her friends go to a ballet studio. They were practicing for their ballet, Cinderella. They received very expensive ballet slippers from Paris that had a lot of jewels attached. The day after they got them, the slippers went missing. Nancy and her friends decided that this was going to be one of their mysteries that they would need to solve.

Will the girls find the slippers? Who took them? Will they be returned in time for the ballet? Read The Cinderella Ballet Mystery by Carolyn Keene to find out.

Pageant Perfect Crime

This book is part of the Nancy Drew series. Nancy has a crime on her hands. The winner of The Miss Pretty Face competition can borrow dresses to attend formal events as crowned Miss Pretty Face. So, the winner goes to a dress store and tells the shopkeeper that she will borrow dresses and the shop keeper agrees.

But later than day, the police came to her house and took her to the station. There they showed her a video of her taking the dresses, but no video about her talking to the shopkeeping about borrowing. The shopkeeper pretends that she never talked to Miss Pretty Face about it and so Miss Pretty Face is accused of shoplifting.

As for Miss Pretty Faces' consequence, they took away her scholarship, car, the crown, and the money she had won. The crown went to the runner-up. Nancy enters a Miss Pretty Face competition to figure out who set her up for the false accusation of shoplifting.

Saving Lilly

In this book a boy and a girl were doing a report on circus' for a gifted class they are in together. They found out very surprising news, that in order to train the animals in the circus, the trainers abuse them to do what they need to do. In their regular class, they had to read a certain amount of minutes for the whole class, and once they reached their goal they would get a surprise field trip.

The field trip turned out to be going to the circus. Now before they learned what the surprise field trip was, the children promised that they would never go to a circus because they would be paying to see the animals do tricks that they got hurt to do.

They told the teacher what they found online, but the teacher did not believe them and they had to go to the field trip. So the students started a petition and they got in big trouble and had to go to the principals office. They were told not to do that any more and stop telling kids things that were not true.

The Trumpet of the Swan

Louis the swan was born with no voice. He could not say "beep" or say "koh-ho". When Louis got older the problem got to him. In order to marry another trumpeter swan he needs to win her heart by saying ''KOH-Ho''. Louis felt very discouraged. His father saw him having troubles with winning his love's heart.

His father went to the mother and told her that he will go to town and get a trumpet for their son Louis. His mother was very worried that the father swan would never get back with out getting shot or hurt.

A boy who goes to the lake where Louis lives, watched these baby swans get born and watch them grow up. Te boy is the only one who goes to this lake and he also is the only human who knows about the nest of swans and about Louis disability. The boy keeps the secret of the swans to himself and never tells a soul. Later in the book Louis flies to the boys house one day and the boy finds a way for him to talk.

Will Louis' father come back with a trumpet? How does the boy teach Louis how to talk? Will Louis win his true love's heart?

Dear Whiskers.

In this book Jenny is writing to second graders in class,they have to pretend they are mice. They all picked out a name out of a hat,Jenny got Sameera. When Jenny got her pencil and paper she had no clue what to say! She thought it was hard. She finally got an idea!

It said, Dear Sameera, I am a mouse. I live in your desk. Sincerely, Whiskers.

Jenny thought that was good enough so she turned it in. A couple days later the second graders wrote back.

Sameera wrote, No mouse in desk.

Jenny was surprised! The teacher of Jenny was surprised too! Jenny thought this assignment was going to be HARDER than ever! Jenny hoped she could find a way to figure this problem out! She also hopes that she can get a new buddy.
